At the post race bash for the 2004 Tour de Georgia, Mikki met team CSC. Left to right are Jacob Piil (winner of stage 5 of the 2004 Tour de France on a lone breakaway), Jens Voigt (finished second in the 2004 Tour de Georgia and was Most Combative in the 2004 Tour de France), Mikki Griffin of Perpetual Motion, Ivan Basso (destined to finish third in the 2004 Tour de France), and Bobby Julich (CSC pro cycling team leader).
